About me

I work as a solo artisan in a dedicated workshop in central Slovenia. Each tank drum is handcrafted from start to finish, with full attention given to sound, form, and detail. Since 2016, I have created more than 1,500 drums, each one marking a new beginning of sound.

I personally carry out every stage of the process: welding, shaping, tuning, coloring, artwork preparation, and final protection. I also make the mallets and protective bags by hand, so each instrument comes as a complete and coherent piece. Precision, consistency, and sound quality are at the core of my work.

The drums are finished using a heat-and-fire coloring process that gives each piece its own character and depth. For those who want something more personal, I create custom artwork in close dialogue with the client. A final protective coating preserves both sound and surface while adding durability.

My aim is to offer more than an instrument. Each drum is a one-of-a-kind musical object, made by hand, tuned by ear, and crafted in Slovenia.
